As a foreign visitor, my experience at The Mines Wonderland was incredibly eye-opening and enriching. From the moment I stepped foot into the park, I was immersed in the sights, sounds, and tastes of Selangor.

One of the highlights for me was trying out various local foods from the many stalls and vendors scattered throughout the park. Not only did I get to taste delicious dishes like satay and roti canai, but I also got to interact with the friendly locals who were more than happy to share their culture and stories with me.

I also had the chance to watch traditional performances such as silat (a Malay martial art) and shadow puppet shows, which gave me a deeper understanding of Malaysia’s cultural heritage. It was truly fascinating to see how these traditions were still being preserved and celebrated in modern times.
